If anyone would like to just go for a 2 to 3 hour site seeing tour into Washington Lake and then around the island just call Gary Thyse and see if there is a time he can guide you around the lake for a couple hours. If you would like to go fishing for 3 hours call Gary and he will guide your group. To set up a time but not too early in the morning (he really needs his beauty sleep) call Gary. Remember fishing is not the only place you need a good line. Also remember if you are disabled CTO will pay for your gas but you have to fill the gas tank when you are done, get a re-ceipt and sent the bill to CTO. If you have never taken out the pontoon you have to call Gary and set up an introduction hour before you can take it out. Gary Thyes (715) 584 7700

LAKE MICHIGAN SALMON FISHING EVENT

On Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 4:00 a.m. in Algoma and 4:30 in Two Rivers, our groups will head out for a wonderful time fishing for the King Salmon and anything that bites our lines. Below I have listed the people that made reservations with me for the event. Note: We have about 8 spots, because of cancelations and two larger boats that I have now, that are open. These are for disabled members only and their helper. All the fishing help will be done by the captain and first mate only. If you can’t drive, the person that drives you is considered a helper and can go on the boat. But that person has to have a license and Lake Michigan Salmon Stamp with the license. First calls will get the openings and choice of harbor, so please call as soon as you can. We are at Two Rivers and Algoma. Because of limited space Reservations are needed to attend the fishing event so I can get the wheelchairs and other people on the right sized boats. My phone number is 920-336-1934. A Not-for-Profit Organization Dedicated to Serving the Recreational Needs and Desires of the Physically Challenged Sportsperson Challenge The Outdoors, Inc., Home Instead Senior Care 901 Anderson Drive, Green Bay WI 54304 7

You Are Needed!!

CTO is looking for some of our members to serve on its Board of Directors. An election will take place at our Annual Membership meeting in July this year but before that we need candidates. That’s where we hope you come in! Are you interested in becoming more active in sharing your skills and interests to help CTO meet the needs and desires of the physically challenged people we serve? Is there a specific area that interests you such as; hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, boat-ing, fundraising etc? If you said yes then we ask you to please seriously think about tossing your hat in the ring and running for a spot on our board. With the many different and vital committees we have we’re sure you will find one that fits you well and we hope some of you will take this opportunity to come on board and help keep this great organization running strong into the coming years! We think you will find it to be a very re-warding and satisfying experience. We also have Associate Directors positions that you may be interested in. Associate Directors are not elected but are appointed by the Board and they attend the meetings and provide valuable in-put but do not have voting rights. This gives a person the opportunity to see how the Board works and gets their feet wet so to speak and hopefully grooms them to become future Directors. Your board of directors meets monthly, usually the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Seymour and Green Bay areas. Please contact Karen Baehr at: (920) 766-9218 before June 30th if you would like to be a candi-date for the CTO Board of Directors. Thank You!

INVITATION TO THE DOOR COUNTY RENAISSANCE FAIRE We are pleased to invite CTO members to experience the Renaissance Fantasy Faire which will be held in Door County, just north of Sturgeon Bay. The event will take place the weekends of June 28 - 29 and July 6 - 7, 2014. You may visit our web-site at http://www.doorfaire.com/ for more information about the event or find us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/RenaissanceFaire In addition to the early 1500's style Royal Court, live armored combat jousting, 4 stages, interactive period encampments, and a tented marketplace with dozens of vendors, we are expecting a Viking inva-sion! This fun and educational outdoor event is lots of fun for the entire family! Please contact Steve Harvey who is volunteering to help with this event and will be able to provide FREE admission tickets to a limited number of people. You can reach Steve at 920-494-3143. If you need addi-tional information, please contact Sandy Stetler at 920-746-6773.
