To: Friends of Challenge The Outdoors, Inc. and supporters.

Thanks to your generous support, 2006 was one of our most
successful  years yet, enabling CTO to serve the recreational
needs and desires of over 80 Physically Challenged Sport
persons.

The following is a list of what your support enabled CTO to
accomplish.

*Sponsored our 9th Annual Special Early October Deer Hunt.

During the 2006 Special Early October 9 day deer hunt a total
of 27 physically challenged deer hunters
participated and harvested a total of 13 deer. A dedicated and
hard working crew of volunteers built blinds,
prepared meals, and provided assistance in the field. A huge
Thank You also goes to the landowners who
opened their lands to the hunters.

*Sponsored our 7th Annual Shawano Lake Picnic and
Fishery.

In early June over 70 people took part in this event, of which
20+ were physically challenged. A group of hardworking
volunteers captained pontoon boats, and other volunteers
prepared and served food, cleaned fish, and helped set up and
clean up. The weather was good in the morning and a storm
moved in during the afternoon but anglers still managed to
bring in a nice mess of fish. Many took home a meal of filleted
fish and everyone had a great time.

*Rented a Slip on Shawano Lake for Our Pontoon Boat.

For the 7th year CTO rented a slip for our pontoon boat on
Shawano Lake. Many physically challenged anglers, their
families, and friends enjoyed the use of it throughout the
season. A few groups also enjoyed guided sightseeing outings
and one fall musky fishing outing.

*Pheasant Hunt at J&H 2006.

Second annual CTO pheasant hunt at J&H Game Farm held
Dec. 17th 2006. Eleven physically challenged hunters and a
few guides along with their dogs took part in the outing. Each
hunter had great shooting with a total of 22 birds harvested,
cleaned and sent home for what we heard was some fine eating.
All those who participated said this was one of our best outings
yet. With such a great response we look forward to offering
another pheasant hunt in 2007.

*Ice Fishing, Archery, Kayaking, Baseball Game & More.

Last February we sponsored two ice-fishing outings on
Shawano Lake with physically challenged anglers and their
family and friends attending. We provided volunteers, bait, and
food. We sponsored a 3-D archery shoot at the Archery Shack
in Neenah. Twelve physically challenged people took part and
we prepared and served food as well. With the help of the
Optimist Paddling Center in Neenah we offered a kayaking
outing in Hortonville on Black Otter Lake in October of 2006.
Nine physically challenged people took part in this outing and
we prepared and served food as well. In July of 2006 we held
our 4th Annual Membership and Recognition Banquet at the
River Rail in Shiocton. In August of 2006 we sponsored a night
out at a Timber Rattlers game where 13 physically challenged
people along with their family and friends took part in the
outing. In September of 2006 we sponsored the trout pond at
the J&H Youth & Ladies Day event.

*Sponsorship of Physically Challenged Sportspersons.

As in previous years we provided several financial sponsorships
to Fishing Has No Boundaries events including: Hayward,
Eagle River, Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and Chippewa Falls, WI.
We also brought our pontoon boat to the Oshkosh FHNB event
and provided a captain and 1st mate. We also provided two
financial sponsorships for two physically challenged members
who names were drawn for the Helluva Antelope Hunt in
Douglas, Wyoming. By the way, they both bagged nice
Pronghorn bucks!

*Co- Sponsored 1st Spring Wild Turkey Hunt with
ClintinvilleWI, NWTF "Autumn Longbeards" Chapter..

This hunt was a coordinated effort with the Autumn
Longbeards. Seventeen physically challenged hunters took part
in this hunt and were guided by a dedicated crew from the
ALBs. The hunt took place in northern Waupaca and southern
Shawano counties during the fifth week of the season. Each
hunter saw turkeys with 2 being harvested. CTO provided and
served meals for all participants and volunteers helped in the
field as well. We also reserved lodging for the hunters in a
rustic camp near Marion, WI.

*Stocked a Pond with Rainbow Trout & Held Two Fisheries
& Picnics.

For the 5th year we stocked a pond with 400 Rainbow Trout in
the spring of the year. They were fed throughout the year and
grew to about 18”, with the a few holdovers from previous
years reaching 27” and weighing in at over 7 lbs!  Two
Fisheries & Picnics were held where the physically challenged
and their family and friends enjoyed catching the trout. We
served a lot of great food and everyone enjoyed them selves.
The pond was open for fishing throughout the summer and fall
and many members took advantage of the great opportunity to
do some fishing for these very feisty and tasty fish. We also
sponsored a fishing day for a Special Needs Scout Troop from
Green Bay and purchased bait & food for a Seymour Special
Needs Physical Education class fishing outing at another pond
this past spring. Volunteers also helped out for both outings.

*Purchased Equipment.

We purchased 13 new collapsible camouflage hunting blinds
that were used during our sponsored deer hunt and were loaned
out to members who used them during the archery and gun deer
hunting seasons. We also purchased three complete crossbow
packages, which included: arrows, cases, broad heads, hand
cranks, and two bag style archery targets.  Wait, there’s still
more! We also purchased two small portable gas heaters, 20
adaptive gun/bow rests, and built several more. Most of these
rests were given to physically challenged members to keep and
use. We also purchased an adaptive bowling ball with a
retractable handle. All of this equipment was added to our loan
closet and is available to our members to loan out. New this
year was the creation of a cost-sharing program where we
helped our physically challenged members purchase their own
adaptive recreational equipment, including adaptive gun stocks,
crossbow hand cranks, and crossbows.

*Events and Outings for 2007.

So far we have the following outings scheduled: February we
will be getting together for an ice-fishing outing on Shawano
Lake, an April Archery Shoot at the Archery Shack in Neenah,
in May we will be co-sponsoring our 2cd Spring Wild Turkey
hunt with the Autumn Long Beards, 18 physically challenged
hunters will be taking part. In June we will be sponsoring our
9th Annual Shawano Lake Picnic & Fishery and in early
October we will sponsor our 10th Special Early Deer Hunt. The
pond will be re-stocked with trout and fisheries and picnics will
be held and the pond will remain open throughout the summer
& fall. We will be sponsoring more physically challenged sports
persons to events such as FHNB and our pontoon boat will
again be available for many more fishing and sightseeing
outings. We are also planning a camping outing that will include
numerous different activities and our Projects committee is
working with other local groups and government entities to
improve access for fishing on the Wolf River and much more.
And as always we will continue to look for and find new and
better ways to accomplish our mission in 2007 and beyond.

As you can see we are keeping very busy meeting the needs
and desires of the physically challenged people we are
dedicated to serving and it goes without saying that it is your
support that makes what we do possible. With that thought in
mind, we sincerely hope you will support our cause once again
this March 31, 2007 at our 9th Annual Sporting Clays
Fundraiser sponsored by J&H Game Farm.  If you have any
