Spring Turkey Hunt for the disabled.
Shadows On The Wolf & CTO Spring Turkey Hunt Update
By:  Mark Baehr

This years – Shadows On The Wolf & CTO Spring Wild Turkey Hunt planning is coming along.
The hunt will take place May 16 & 17, the weekend of 5th week of the Wild Turkey season in
zone 3. While this years hunt is still over 2 months away we are getting closer to finalizing most of
the details. Here’s a quick update on what’s going on. So far we have 11 hunters signed up. They
are; Len Colegrove, Ivan Craig, Brian Des Rochers, Steve Harvey, John Kempen, Larry  Laehn,
Larry Lane, Tommy Narmore, Judy Paluch, Leroy Van Cuyk, & Kaley Wockenfuss. If you think
your name should be on this list but isn’t give Mark Baehr a call so we can get you in the hunt.
Otherwise, the hunters will be contacted soon with information on who their mentor (s) will be.
Like last year we will be letting the mentors and hunters work out the details of their hunt and we
will be there to offer assistance if need be. We will keep in contact to ensure there are no problems
going unresolved. Lodging has been reserved again this year. We are looking for a few volunteers
willing to give a few hours of assistance during the hunt. If you are interested in helping out please
contact Mark Baehr at: (920) 766-9218 or e-mail him at baehrm@sbcglobal.net  We need help
with preparing and serving food and with general cleanup and possibly as an assistant to the
mentors and hunters in the field. Look for more info on the hunt in May. And if you are getting
out Turkey hunting this spring good-luck and be safe!

While registration for this years hunt is closed. You can get information on participating in
